Guild Information

Singularity is a raiding guild on Doomhammer founded in April 2004. Our primary focus is on end game raiding and the challenge and competition it presents to us. When not raiding, we enjoy the rest of the content WoW has to offer, 5 man dungeons, arenas, etc.

Since we've been around since early in WoW's lifetime, we have many members who have raided all of the end game content that has been offered over the years. We are a stable guild that has great chemistry and a zero tolerance for drama.

Member Conduct

Singularity is serious about maintaining a good reputation among the Doomhammer community as well as all of WoW. Every guild member is responsible for maintaining this reputation. We expect our members to treat other people with respect and act in a mature manner. We do not promote realm forum trolling, trade chat bragging or insults to other guilds, and other random asshattery. Behavior that can defame the Singularity name will not be tolerated.

Raiding Rules

Singularity takes raiding seriously. We come to raids fully repaired, we enchant all of our gear correctly, we bring a full stock of consumables and use them on everything, we use optimal raiding specs, and we do not cut any corners. Raiding is what we all play the game for, we expect to make the most of our scheduled raiding time.

Our members are expected to maintain an 80% attendance level, everyone should strive for 100%. Should anyone, initiates included, know he/she is going to be late or miss a raid, it is ABSOLUTELY required to post on our absence/late forum.

Loot

Singularity distributes loot by using a Loot Council.(Consisting of Officers, AND Raiders) We award loot based on many factors, including (but not limited to) raid attendance, performance, previous loot received, and tenure (A "Raider" will be awarded loot over an Applicant 99% of the time).

The goal of our loot council is to distribute loot is to strengthen the raid as a whole over any one individual. This helps us progress faster and helps us minimize the amount of sharded loot as well as removing the desirability for our members to pass on small upgrades or situational items. We place a high value on loyalty, and tend to award the best items to individuals that have proven themselves to be trustworthy and reliable.
